Ukraine War

On 24/2/2022 Russia attacked Ukraine by air, land and sea and called it special military operation.  Around 4.45 a.m. there were explosions in Kiev, also known as Kyiv. Many countries called it invasion and condemned it.  Some called it Russia’s version of shock and awe.

USA’s war industry wants endless wars.  Peace is bad for business.  USA has bases all over the world.  American troops are in Ukraine as advisors.  USA increased its troops in NATO countries.  Americans gave different dates when Ukraine War will start.

Till some days back war did not seem probable.  Russia had some demands.  Main demand was Ukraine will not become member of NATO.  That was not granted.  Then came the resolution of Duma for recognition of Donetsk and Lugansk, also known as Luhansk, as independent republics.  Vladimir Putin held a meeting of National Security Council on 21/2/2022 which was telecast live.  There was general demand for recognition of Donetsk and Lugansk.

After that things moved past. Recognition followed.  USA and some other countries imposed sanctions on Russia.  After war began more sanctions followed.

Imran Khan was in Moscow on 24/2/2022.  He met Putin.  The meeting was fixed much in advance and was originally for one hour.  It was rescheduled for three hours and went beyond that.  USA did not want Imran Khan to go ahead with the visit.  He did not oblige.  He had waited for Joseph Biden’s call for a long time and when that did not come had said Pakistan has other options.

Imran Khan in an interview to Oksana Boyko on RT’s Worlds Apart expressed his desire to have a debate with Modi.  He thinks Indo-Pak problems will be solved with that debate.

Ukraine’s President Volodomyr Zelenskyy has cut off diplomatic relationship with Russia and has asked other countries to do the same. He wanted ban on Russia from SWIFT.

Putin ignored condemnations and sanctions.  He said Russia remains a powerful nuclear state.  It has certain advantages in several cutting-edge weapons.  Any potential aggressor will face defeat and ominous consequences.

Russia can use hypersonic missiles and incinerate and obliterate Washington DC, New York, Los Angeles and other cities.  Putin’s choice will be 1/3/2022 when USA has State of the Union address and President, Vice President, Congress members, Cabinet members, USA’s Supreme Court judges and others gather in Capitol.

French Foreign Minister Jean Yves Le Drian said Putin should understand NATO is a nuclear alliance.  If NATO goes to nuclear war with Russia many cities in Europe will be destroyed.

It is a good time for China to annex Taiwan.  In recent years China and Russia have got closer.  They use roubles and yuan for mutual trade.  Russia can use Bitcoin and other cryptocurrencies instead of dollars, euros, pounds, and yens.

Nord Stream 2 was completed on 10/9/2021.  Germany should have immediately certified it for gas flow.  Now Germany has stopped process of certification.  Russia can stop gas flow through Ukraine and Nord Stream 1 and say it will supply gas only through Nord Stream 2.  USA dictating Germany on Nord Stream 2 and putting sanctions on those associated with it shows USA is no respecter of sovereignty and territorial integrity.

Every time USA has a commando operation one helicopter malfunctions and is destroyed.  That is good for helicopter manufacturer.

India has its interests.  Some Western countries want India to side with them and take a tough stand against Russia.  Those countries have not behaved differently from Russia.  They have destroyed countries like Iraq and Libya.  They illegally occupy parts of Syria.  People of Okinawa do not want American troops there.  Americans do not want to leave.  They have committed crimes like rape and murder.

Many Indian students, as per one estimate 18,000 are stranded in Ukraine. Indian Embassy had issued advisory to leave.  They ignored it.  Now they are advised to go to a neighbouring country.  From there they will be flown back.
